Amna AL MANSOORI

Biography

 Amna Almansoori, PhD, is a marine scientist dedicated to advancing coastal ecosystem management and scaling conservation efforts across the Arabian Gulf. Since joining the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi in 2017, she has played a pivotal role in monitoring and assessing critical habitats and species within the Emirate. Her work has contributed significantly to both national and regional evaluations of the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems, particularly for mangrove and saltmarsh ecosystems. Driven by a passion for marine conservation, Amna is committed to strengthening the UAE’s scientific research, fostering regional and international collaborations to create meaningful cross-cultural experiences that bridge science, policy and society for a sustainable future.
