Mirja STOLDT

Biography

Mirja Stoldt is a Junior Professional Officer in Programme Management with the Global Policy, Advocacy, and Regional Cooperation (GPARC) unit at the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Natural Resources Management, with specialisations in land and water management, as well as biodiversity and conservation management. Before joining the UNCCD, Mirja worked with a non-governmental organisation in Namibia, the Namibia Nature Foundation, where she engaged in a wide range of thematic areas including biodiversity conservation, human-wildlife conflict, land degradation, climate change, carbon markets, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental governance. At the UNCCD, she currently supports the organisation’s work on land tenure and gender, contributing to global efforts toward sustainable land management and social equity.
