Session Description

This session introduces WRAP30, a global initiative aimed at recognizing and strengthening the role of rangers in implementing the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. Through short presentations and a roundtable discussion, speakers will showcase concrete actions taken by rangers to advance national biodiversity strategies and action plans (NBSAPs). The event will feature examples of effective fieldwork, capacity building, and cross-sector collaboration that contribute to protecting species and ecosystems. Participants will gain insight into how WRAP30 is shaping a more connected, well-resourced, and recognized global ranger workforce supporting conservation goals worldwide.
