Session Description
This side event will bring together speakers from Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, DRC, and Congo to explore the current state of OECMs in Central and Western Africa. It will address challenges in identifying, reporting, monitoring and strengthening OECMs. Through a dialogue driven format, participants will discuss the barriers hindering effective implementation, reflect on the ongoing processes, and explore opportunities to enhance these efforts.
