Session Description

The Global Species Action Plan (GSAP) has been developed to support implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) by setting out the key strategic interventions and actions required to achieve successful outcomes for the conservation and sustainable use of species in the GBF Mission, Goals, and Targets. The GSAP SKILLS Online Knowledge Platform is an online knowledge hub for the GSAP. It provides a comprehensive toolkit of resources, training support, and technical guidance designed to empower governments, conservation organizations, and other stakeholders to effectively conserve and manage native wild species. This training session is specifically tailored for IUCN Members, Partners and other stakeholders to introduce them to the GSAP SKILLS platform and demonstrate how it can be utilised to enhance their conservation work and the updating and implementation of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) and achieve tangible species conservation outcomes.
