Session Description

At UNOC, the ELYX Foundation issued the very first certified blue certified carbon credits to protect the Mediterranean seagrass meadows, under a French certification scheme—making France the first country to endorse such an innovative climate finance tool. Unlike traditional carbon credits, ARCHIPEL’s credits embed biodiversity, social impact, cultural engagement, and diplomacy at their core, creating a new class of purpose-driven impact assets. This pioneering model achieved rapid success on the market, with TP ICAP, the world’s largest carbon intermediary, facilitating distribution. Adeline Pilon (ELYX) and Pierre-Alexandre Moussa (TP ICAP) will tell the ARCHIPEL story of this breakthrough and spotlight upcoming projects in Tunisia, Mauritius, and the GCC.
