This training session is designed for those eager to learn about and explore Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and the updated Global Standard for NbS. Session Description
In this two-hours hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to the updated version of the Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and learn about its 8 criteria and associated indicators, and how to implement its Self-Assessment Tool (SAT). Participants will first learn from and engage with experts involved in the development of the updated Global Standard for NbS and its implementation in case studies. Then they will be divided into groups of 7-10 people from diverse backgrounds, and they will be trained to use the SAT and the NbS Global Standard’s criteria and indicators and their guiding questions to assess NbS interventions.
