Why attend

The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, in target 15, identifies nature-related financial disclosure as a key step towards the sustainable economy and Nature Positive outcomes. This session will explore how multi-stakeholder cooperation strategies can enable and improve the uptake of disclosure frameworks, broaden corporate participation and support sharing of best practices.

Session Description

The interactive session proposes to explore innovative solutions and partnerships models to support the adoption of corporate nature-related financial disclosure and to advance Nature Positive business practices.
Experts and stakeholders will share examples and results of national strategic approaches and practical frameworks of multi-stakeholder engagement that have been implemented to strengthen corporate nature-related financial disclosure. The partnership between the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea and IUCN will serve as a case study to the discussion.
Representatives from the different multistakeholder platforms will be invited to share their view on the added-value of such partnership to accelerate the transition to Nature Positive economies.
Building on these examples. the World café session will invite participants to identify success factors for such partnerships models, the roles and responsibilities of the different stakeholders, and what a practical implementation strategy could look like.
