Why attend
The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, in target 15, identifies nature-related financial disclosure as a key step towards the sustainable economy and Nature Positive outcomes. This session will explore how multi-stakeholder cooperation strategies can enable and improve the uptake of disclosure frameworks, broaden corporate participation and support sharing of best practices.
Session Description
The interactive session proposes to explore innovative solutions and partnerships models to enable and incentivise the adoption of voluntary nature-related financial disclosure by businesses and to advance Nature Positive business practices. Experts and stakeholders will share examples of national strategic approaches and practical frameworks of multi-stakeholder platforms that have been implemented to accelerate the uptake of corporate nature-related financial disclosure. The partnership between the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea and IUCN will serve as a case study to the discussion. Other multistakeholder platforms will be invited to share their view on the value of such partnerships to accelerate the transition to Nature Positive economies. Building on these examples and using the Awareness-Desire-Knowledge-Ability-Reinforcement (ADKAR) change management model, this World café session will invite participants to identify success factors for such partnership models, the roles and responsibilities of the different stakeholders, and what practical implementation strategies could look like.Organised by
