Session Description
The intersection of art and conservation provides a unique pathway to inspire change. This session, presented by Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) as part of the IUCN Congress virtual Forum programme, explores how visual storytelling, photography, and creative expression can mobilize audiences to support cheetah conservation. Through a four-part CheetahTV video podcast series, hosted by Brian Badger, we showcase conversations with artists, photographers, and designers who have collaborated with CCF.Each episode focuses on a unique creative approach to conservation, demonstrating how murals, books, and sustainable artisan projects educate, inspire, and empower communities. The session will highlight the role of art in engaging the public, supporting conservation storytelling, and ultimately securing a future for cheetahs in the wild.
