Why attend

Learn about the race to protect one of the most threatened groups of animals on the planet: how far we have come, what challenges remain, and what do we need to prioritise in 2030 to save sharks and rays?

Session Description

We are running out of time to save sharks and rays from extinction. Great strides have been made, but there are still immense challenges. The ocean is a busy place, and one without fences or distinct boundaries. Shark fisheries provide vital income to coastal and vulnerable communities. And, in many areas, data is still lacking.
