How can cities become more resilient to climate risk while restoring and working with nature? Join Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (first subnational member of IUCN) and ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center, to explore pioneering case and future directions of the CitiesWithNature Initiative.

Session Description

This session will showcase how local and regional governments are tranforming urban planning with nautre-based solutions, shaing the next generation of climate-resilient cities. Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center will join this event to share how local governments have promoted on climate-resilient urban development grounded in natural systems, as well as the vision for the leadership of nature-based urban planning through some cases.
