Why attend

Join this event to explore how Nature Positive outcomes can be achieved through collaborative and equitable landscape conservation.

Session Description

This interactive panel event will explore how footprint based industries, specifically the mining sector, can use landscape conservation actions to effectively and efficiently align with Nature Positive goals and achieve outcomes that are transformational for nature and local communities. Specifically the panel participants will provide insights on: - The typology of landscape actions tailored to the mining sector, with examples. - Approaches to determine the necessary size of actions outcomes to ensure contributions and alignment with Nature Positive goals, "How much is enough". Key themes and issues will be illustrated through a hypothetical mining case study to demonstrate landscape conservation actions and outcomes beyond existing requirements.
