Christi LINARDICH

Biography

Christi is a manager of the IUCN Marine Biodiversity Unit where she evaluates extinction risk of marine species, including corals and fishes. She has contributed to thousands of IUCN Red List assessments, strengthening the scientific foundation for conservation strategies. Her research utilizes data-driven frameworks to inform ocean conservation and management decisions. Christi is also active in the SSC Marine Fishes Red List Authority, SSC Coral Specialist Group, SSC Snapper, Seabream, and Grunt Specialist Group and the Red List Technical Working Group. Her favorite things to do involve diving the world and spending time on the water in her home town on the Chesapeake Bay.
