OLOO MOLLY AKINYI

Biography

Oloo Molly Akinyi  is a 30 year old trained journalist with over nine  years of experience in the Kenyan Media industry, She is known for her professionalism, authenticity and determination  , Molly has worked with 3 different Radio stations in her community, delivering measurable results through  always seeking to expand her expertise in the field by innovation  and service, giving a voice to the voiceless in her community  .

Currently serving as a principal Radio presenter at Namlolwe FM, Molly leads in production and presentation of on air programs, researching and developing content for presentation, focusing on weather and climate information . Prior to this, she was actively involved in a project that involved inclusion and workers rights of persons with disability in her community.

Molly  holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media  from Kisii University and continues to stay engaged with Weather and climate change information through conferences ,workshops and active participation.

Outside of work ,Molly is passionate about instilling the reading culture in Kids and the community at large  and therefore tries to make books accessible in her community for children and even adults who cant afford them.
