Prishani VENGETAS

Biography

I am conservation veterinarian with over 15 years of experience in animal health, including field work with local communities and wildlife organisations in Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. I have a strong background in emergency care, conducting search and rescue and rapid response during wildlife trafficking interventions and bushfires. I have also managed a broad range of projects from a local community level to national multi-level wildlife health and conservation programs. I am currently based within the WWF-International Wildlife Practice, my role is multifunctional. I guide the network on One Health interventions, chair the Animal Handling Committee and lead the Conservation Veterinary Group.
