Session Description

This celebratory session brings together representatives from the IUCN Green List applicant and candidate sites across the Middle East and West Asia who have demonstrated strong commitment and continuous efforts toward achieving the IUCN Green List Standard. The session provides a platform for commitment and recognition, enabling site teams to reflect on their progress, share their journey, and discuss lessons learned. By amplifying the voices of site practitioners, the session aims to inspire others, foster cross-site learning, and reinforce the value of perseverance in protected area management. Through personal narratives and shared challenges, the event highlights the practical side of conservation, encouraging continued dedication to excellence.
