Lara HILDEBRAND

Biography

Lara has been working as a Nature Manager at Holcim since June 2024. She has a Master’s in Nature conservation from Wageningen University and Research. At Holcim Lara is in charge of topics involving water and biodiversity, ensuring the group is reducing its impact by meeting its ambitious targets and also pushing for nature-positive corporate action. She is working alongside Holcim’s partner IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) across biodiversity projects including piloting the STAR methodology in the NAture Positive Initiative pilot for the State of Nature Metrics pilot. In another stream, she is also working with IUCN on strengthening water replenishment projects across different countries that go beyond Holcim’s boundaries. She is also leading Holcim’s efforts in initiatives like Science Based Targets for Nature (SBTN),  and the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD).
