Biography
Mike Gill is the President of Global Conservation Design Ltd, an Honorary Fellow of UN Environment’s World Conservation Monitoring Centre, and the former Co-Chair of the Group on Earth Observations – Biodiversity Observation Network. For the past three decades, Mike has led the design and implementation of user-driven and results-oriented biodiversity conservation, research, and monitoring and reporting programs. His current work focuses on the design and implementation of biodiversity monitoring and reporting systems in Asia, the Caribbean, the Tropical-Andes, sub-Saharan Africa, and the Arctic.
