Helene HOFFMANN

Biography

Helene Hoffmann has been a Project Manager at the International Climate Initiative (IKI) for three years, a funding programme for climate action and biodiversity conservation projects funded by the German Federal Government. She works in the IKI Biodiversity and Marine Conservation team and is responsible for a portfolio or marine and biodiversity projects. Before joining IKI, Helene worked for the Grant Programme against Marine Litter funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) and gained work experience in the marine policy field while working in Berlin and Brussels.  Helene holds a bachelor’s degree in Oceanography from the University of Southampton (UK) and Masters in Marine Resource Management and Protection from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh (UK).
