Sandra Giovanna Galán Rodriguez. Ecologist with a master's degree in Territorial Studies: Currently Technical Deputy Director of Governance, Protected Areas, and Conserved Areas at Fundación Natura. She has experience in social and environmental research related to planning and management for biodiversity conservation, management and implementation of productive projects and environmental planning with administrative and participatory research components inside and outside protected areas. She works on peacebuilding issues with a differential approach, gender, and inclusion. She has several years of experience in private conservation tools and complementary conservation strategies, with an emphasis on conservation-production agreements and Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OMEC).
