Biography
Isaac Rounds is the Protected Areas Officer at SPREP, where he leads biodiversity conservation across the Pacific, including managing the Pacific Islands Protected Area Portal. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Biology from the University of the South Pacific. Prior to this, Isaac served as the Terrestrial Protected Areas Manager, Carbon-Offset Manager, and Forest Ecologist at Conservation International Fiji. He blends science, policy, and community engagement to strengthen protected and conserved area systems in Pacific Island nations.
