Rajesh SHARMA

Biography

Rajesh Sharma M.Sc. and PhD in Forestry with specialization in Forest Genetics & Tree Improvement is presently posted as Assistant Director General (Biodiversity & Climate Change) Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education, Dehradun. Dr Sharma has more than 33 years of research experience in the discipline and worked for twenty-four years in Tree Improvement of conifer species and executed UNDP and World Bank aided FREE Project Activities of Tree Improvement. He is a DAAD Fellow and has executed fifteen research projects as PI and Co-PI and developed DUS Test Guidelines for Conifer species (Cedrus deodara and Pinus roxburghii) and has published more than fifty research papers in various national and international journals, three Books, five book chapters and five technical bulletins.
