Chantal Felder holds both an MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute Geneva and an MSc in Management from the London School of Economics. She worked for the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan and for the Secretary General’s Office of the European Free Trade Association, where she participated in multilateral trade negotiations.
Upon joining the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in 2010, she worked both in Tajikistan and at Headquarters, before assuming positions as Deputy Director of Cooperation at the Swiss Cooperation Office in Honduras and at the Swiss Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In these positions, she covered a broad range of issues from governance and security sector reform to economic development.
Since August 2024, she is heading the section Climate, DRR and Environment at SDC head office.
Apart from German, French and English, Ms Felder also speaks Spanish and Russian.
