Margaux, a biologist specialized in ethology, has led numerous projects focused on the study of animal behavior, always with the aim of improving and safeguarding the well-being of both domestic and wild species. Among her achievements, she directed a project in Brazil to enhance cattle welfare and took part in a field mission in Thailand on the behavior of semi-wild Asian elephants in their natural environment.
Driven by a deep passion for the relationship between humans and wildlife, Margaux is dedicated to fostering a harmonious coexistence between human activities and nature. Since joining HISA in February 2018, she has overseen a wide range of the association’s projects, spanning interventions in Tanzania, Madagascar, mainland France, and French Guiana. Her commitment and ability to manage large-scale initiatives led to her promotion as Director of the association, where she continues to lead innovative efforts for biodiversity conservation and for reconciling human activities with nature protection.
