Companies are increasingly recognizing the need for landscape-level ecosystem restoration to maximize impact and achieve multiple benefits for nature, people, and climate. This session explores how businesses are pursuing such initiatives, emphasizing collaboration with governments, Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs), and conservation organizations. Discussion will cover drivers for action, including disclosure frameworks like SBTN, TNFD, and CSRD, which highlight risk, dependency, and opportunity. The session will also examine sustainable and blended finance models to achieve scale, aligning corporate targets with National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). A key focus will be on creating co-benefits across forests, water, biodiversity, climate, and livelihoods. Crucially, the session will address challenges and barriers, seeking solutions and identifying knowledge gaps for stakeholders to ensure both nature and people are safeguarded.Speaker
