Piero GENOVESI

Biografía

Piero Genovesi, PhD, Jefe del Servicio de Vida Silvestre del Instituto Italiano de Protección e Investigación Medioambiental, Presidente del Grupo de Especialistas en Especies Invasoras de la CSE de la UICN y miembro del Comité Directivo de la Comisión de Supervivencia de Especies de la UICN, colabora con numerosas organizaciones internacionales, entre ellas el Convenio sobre la Diversidad Biológica de las Naciones Unidas y la Comisión Europea. Asesor científico internacional del Centro de Biología de la Invasión de la Universidad de Stellenbosch (Sudáfrica). Autor de libros y artículos científicos publicados en las revistas más prestigiosas del mundo, en 2018, 2019, 2020 y 2021 incluido en la lista Highly Cited Researchers de Web of Science.
