Explore how Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) aligns long-term conservation finance with policy commitments and stakeholder buy-in. Learn how CTFs bridge national targets and local priorities, ensuring accountability, equity, and durable impact—co-hosted by RedLAC and Enduring Earth.
Descripción de la sesión
Co-hosted by RedLAC and Enduring Earth, this systems-level session examines policy alignment and permanence through the Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) model. PFP marries long-term financing with clear policy commitments and broad stakeholder buy-in. Conservation Trust Funds (CTFs) sit at the core as locally grounded institutions that steward resources, ensure accountability and equity, and connect national targets with local priorities. Speakers will unpack how PFPs integrate national policy goals, financial architecture, and community needs, and how they catalyze additional instruments for sustained funding for conservation and human well-being—advancing progress toward CBD Target 19. Participants will leave with insights on enabling conditions, governance arrangements, and practical steps to design and implement PFPs that deliver durable, inclusive impact.Organised by
