Maria Julia OLIVA

Julia is Director for Policy and Sector Transformation at UEBT, an international non-profit promoting sourcing with respect for people and biodiversity of botanical ingredients used in beauty and personal care, herbs & spices, fragrance and flavours and other sectors.  Julia was also Head of Policy at UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), among other posts in international and inter-governmental organisations. She is a trained lawyer with internationally recognized expertise on legal and policy issues linked to biodiversity. Julia grew up in Mendoza, Argentina and has an LLM degree from Lewis & Clark Law School in the US.
