Biografía

I worked as a senior lecturer in a public university of Malaysia, lecturing in conservation of Biodiversity program for the past 20 years. Specialise in zoology, ecology of herpetofaunal including frogs and sea snakes. 

Also has very keen interest in general terrestrial birds and shorebirds. Lead annual Asian Waterbirds census in my state, Sabah. Have carried out many research on faunal including Orang Utan, Long- tailed Macaque, hornbills, birds diversity, frogs and snakes in pristine forest as well as disturbed forest. Studied on life after logging. 

Currently as a President of Malaysian Nature Society, advocate for protection of fragile natural environment especially mangrove ecosystem, conserving of wild flora and fauna, promoting environmental education and public awareness.
