Caroline KATSANDE

Biografía

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Caroline Katsande is a dedicated conservation professional with more than twenty years of experience in wildlife management, habitat restoration, community and stakeholder engagement. She started her career at Zimbabwe Institute of Wildlife Conservation as a Ranger and rose through the ranks. She coordinated the implementation of programs for two TFCAs, names Lowe Zambezi Mana  -Pools and Zimbabwe-Mozambique-Zambia. She was also appointed as a Senior Area Manager responsible for Manyame Lakes, before she coordinated the Global Environmental Facility 6 year cycle project, in the Mid-to Lower Zambezi Valley.  Currently, Caroline is the Regional Manager for theEastern Highlands Region, which is within Manicaland Province.     She is a holder of a Masters Degree in Development studies, BSC in Wildlife, Fisheries and Livestock, and a Diploma in Transfrontier conservation. 

Caroline is a renowed conservation expert who has made significant contribution to the wildlife industry. The achievements that she attained,  the commitments and passion have earned her a reputation as a leader in this field. Her dedication, expertise and passions also inspired countless individuals and paved way for future generations.
