Biografía

Member of the Miskitu Indigenous People of Nicaragua, to which participated in the negotiations for the

establishment of the autonomy regime for the Indigenous Peoples and ethnic communities of the

Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua.

40+ years of experience in accompaniment, studies, facilitation and application of policies, programs

based on approaches to the individual and collective human rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Maintains extensive knowledge of the human rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Dedicated the last decades to promote paradigmatic changes in the relations of international

cooperation and philanthropy with Indigenous Peoples, and the establishment of initiatives led by

Indigenous People.

She is currently Chair of the Pawanka fund's Guiding Committee and Vice President of Filac.
