This session will serve as some reflections from the Coalition for the Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC)’s in what is to come in the next-generation of conservation or nature finance.

This session will explore the scope and opportunities of nature-positive investments, with a focus on advancing innovative financial models for life on land and below water. Hosted by the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC), the discussion will begin with reflections from CPIC Steering Committee members on the current state of nature finance, emerging trends, and CPIC’s role in mobilizing capital. Speakers will highlight where investment opportunities lie, emphasizing the potential of blended public-private approaches to drive impact at scale. Key themes will include impact investing, biodiversity credits, and other financial instruments designed to channel resources into conservation and sustainable development. The session will provide a platform to assess progress, identify gaps, and consider how CPIC can shape a new roadmap for scaling nature-based investments, strengthening resilience, and delivering lasting outcomes for people and nature.Organised by
