Descripción de la sesión
They say children are the leaders of tomorrow. However, most people who start on the path of species conservation do not end up in a conservation career due to financial inadequacy, lack of career opportunities, lack of adequate technical know-how, etc. Hence, in this session, we will brainstorm ideas on how to overcome these challenges through the role of biodiversity education and intergenerational mentoring for conservation knowledge transfer. This session will involve a 12-minute panel session as an introduction. This is followed by a 60-minute discussion involving five topics relevant to conservation leadership. Lastly, there will be a summary session to discuss the outcomes of the discussion. This is to the end that every young professional present departs with a sense of belonging and bolstered hope for the future.Speaker
