Co-led by FEE, UNESCO, and FAO, this session focuses on “Greening Communities” Pillar 4 of the Greening Education Partnership. Discover how intergenerational learning is bringing youth and elders together to tackle environmental challenges through hands-on, nature-based education. Learn more about the Greening Communities for Lifelong Learning guidelines and hear impactful stories from both formal and non-formal educators who are bridging indigenous wisdom with modern sustainability practices. This session puts inclusion and equity at the forefront, showing how amplifying the voices of youth amongst other communities leads to fairer, more effective conservation. Leave equipped with new insights, practical strategies, and the inspiration to build strong partnerships to drive sustainable change in your own community.
