Descripción de la sesión

The UNCCD Goodwill Ambassadors – Baaba Maal, Ricky Kej, and Inna Modja – present their new film Living Desert at the IUCN Congress. Through music, imagery, and storytelling, the film highlights the cultural and environmental significance of desert landscapes, set in the majestic AlUla region of Saudi Arabia—a vital reminder of land as the foundation of life. This premiere will be followed by a high-level panel discussion exploring how creativity, culture, and partnerships can inspire action for land restoration and conservation.
