Why attend

To halt biodiversity loss, we need more than policies—we need all stakeholders involved. Join this session to explore effective ways to mobilize diverse actors, learn from global leaders, engage in interactive dialogue, and gain practical strategies to inspire action and become a catalyst for change.

Session Description

This session will focus on one of the most urgent and strategic challenges of our time: mobilizing all parts of society to protect and restore biodiversity. In line with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, it highlights the essential role of communication, education, and awareness-raising in engaging actors across sectors—business, youth, academia, policymakers, and communities. Participants will hear from leaders involved in global initiatives who will share concrete approaches to building shared responsibility for nature. Short interactive moments will allow participants to connect, reflect, and identify how they, too, can influence change within their own spheres. By showcasing what works and why, the session aims to inspire action, foster collaboration, and equip participants with ideas and strategies they can adapt and apply. Because without broad and inclusive mobilization, the shift needed to halt biodiversity loss simply won’t happen.
