Descripción de la sesión
This document is the result of a collaborative effort grounded in the experiences and insights of practitioners who have led real-world green schoolyard initiatives. Drawing from these lessons learned, the result is a practical, adaptable resource designed to help cities launch and sustain green schoolyard programs. This guide outlines Ten Practical Steps—organized into three phases: Setting the Stage, Moving Forward, and Keeping It Going—to provide cities with a structured yet flexible approach to transforming schoolyards into vibrant, nature-filled spaces for learning, play, community connection and conservation action. It serves as both a source of practical support and motivation for municipal leaders and policy makers to take bold action in transforming schoolyards into vibrant, nature-filled spaces that benefit children, communities, and the environment.
