Biography

WANG Zhi. Professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Institute of Environmental Science, Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE), P.R. China, Vice Chairman of China Expert Assessment Group for IUCN Green List of Protected Areas, the member of Expert Advisory Committee of Chinese National Committee for Man and the Biosphere Programme, UNESCO.

Prof. Wang has over 20 years of work experience in the fields of public policy study of protected area, biodiversity and nature HeritageHe presided some research projects, such as Investigation of nature reserves in China, Nature Reserve System Planning in China, Nature Reserves Information System of China. His research has contributed to many of China’s current policies and institutional arrangements for protected area, biodiversity conservation.
