Gain insights from the Green List experience of the Asian countries, such as the Republic of Korea, China and other countries, explore global applications for effective and equitable conservation, and engage in dialogue on achieving biodiversity outcomes and Target 3 of the GBF.

Session Description

This session will explore the implementation and impact of the IUCN Green List in supporting equitable and effective protected and conserved areas. Drawing from the Korean and China experiences with the Green List, the session will highlight global efforts in achieving biodiversity outcomes, building institutional capacity, and aligning with Target 3 GBF. The participants will also hear the commitments from the other countries/regions. The format will include storytelling, panel discussions, and an open Q&A to foster knowledge exchange and inspire broader adoption of the Green List Standard globally.
