Hag Young HEO

Biography

Dr. Hag Young HEO, is working for Korea National Park Service (KNPS) as a Chief Researcher in National Park Research Institute. He has plenty of research experience related to Protected Areas, particularly in the fields of PA Management Category System and Management Effectiveness Evaluation including the IUCN Green List. He also worked in the IUCN Asia Regional Biodiversity Conservation Programme for 3 years through secondment from KNPS. He has recently developed the national roadmap for 30by30 target and worked on the IUCN FP project to identify potential OECMs in Korea since early 2022.
