Nadia MUJICA ROSERO

Biography

Nadia Mujica Rosero is a Portfolio Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), based at the Regional Office for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean (ORMACC). She plays a key role in coordinating and managing regional environmental projects and programs, particularly in the context of international climate, biodiversity, and land management policy, working with international donors such as the GEF and GCF. Her responsibilities include supporting the design and implementation of environmental initiatives, promoting knowledge management across the IUCN portfolio at the international level, and strengthening regional participation to align conservation efforts with global sustainability goals. Through her role, she contributes to advancing nature-based solutions, biodiversity conservation, sustainable land use, and overall sustainable development across Latin America and the Caribbean.
