Biography
Anthropologist and executive coordinator of the Institute for Society, Population, and Nature (ISPN) in Brazil, a non-governmental organization for the development of social equity and environmental balance, through the strengthening of sustainable livelihoods and strategies for adapting and mitigating climate change. He holds a master's degree in Society, Agriculture, and Development (CPDA/UFRRJ). Has been working with indigenous peoples for over three decades, with a special focus on the indigenous economy. He participated in implementing the Indigenous Peoples Demonstration Projects (PDPI/PPG7) in the Amazon for the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment (MMA).
