Biography
Marco Antonio Carias Mejía is a Forestry professional with a solid track record in natural resource management, with experience in government institutions (such as the Honduran Forestry Development Corporation) and in international cooperation projects (funded by the European Union and USAID). His advanced academic background includes two master's degrees, and he is currently finalizing his doctoral process with a thesis focused on projects. He currently serves as the Technical Coordinator of the Community-Based Coastal Biodiversity Conservation project in Honduras. In his free time, Marco enjoys activities such as birdwatching.
