Hui REN

As the GEF/GCF Task Manager at IUCN, Hui Ren oversees the formulation and implementation of GEF and GCF projects across the West Asia portfolio. Since 2022, including her experience as a Climate Finance Officer and Fund Liaising Officer with a UN organization, she has successfully mobilized over USD 130 million from multiple international financial instruments and leveraged an additional USD 10 million in co-financing from both public and private sectors.

Hui holds an MSc in Stratigraphy and Paleontology from the China University of Geosciences. Following her graduation, she gained extensive experience in natural resource management and ecosystem restoration.
