Why attend

Join a focused session exploring youth-led conservation through reflection, research, and real-world action. Engage in a guided circle on the emotional realities of advocacy, discover youth contributions to biodiversity and climate solutions, and gain tools to lead meaningful environmental change in schools, universities, and local communities.

Session Description

As conservation challenges intensify, young people are taking the lead in nature conservation. The youth circle brings together three key elements of youth environmental leadership: reflection, research, and implementation. The session begins with a guided youth circle that explores the emotional dimensions, with an overview of youth contributions to interdisciplinary solutions in biodiversity, climate, and marine science. Finally, the session touches on empowering young people to lead meaningful change in schools, universities, and local communities. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their role in conservation and with practical tools to contribute effectively to nature-positive action.
