The private sector plays a crucial role in bridging the biodiversity financing gap, but the potential is still largely untapped. Beyond funding conservation, businesses are exploring ways to ensure their investments meaningfully contribute to their immediate and long-term goals, building their resilience in the face of a changing environment. How can businesses invest significantly in nature while strengthening their value chains? This plenary will feature innovative financial mechanisms, ambitious partnerships and new approaches that are key to mobilising capital for nature. Business leaders, alongside high-level representatives from the public sector and civil society, will highlight key successes, learnings, gaps and opportunities to enable more effective investment in nature and people.
