Why attend

Discover how a groundbreaking DAPSI(w)R(m) -based Knowledge Management System leverages systems thinking, AI, and knowledge graphs to redefine conservation decision-making—tracing environmental pressures to their root causes and unlocking evidence-based, scalable solutions for biodiversity protection, ecosystem restoration, and climate resilience.

Session Description

Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) and its partners have developed the world’s first Environmental Knowledge Management System based on the DAPSI(w)R(m) cause-effect model—a disruptive innovation that transforms how environmental knowledge is structured, analyzed, and applied. This session will showcase how systems thinking, AI, and graph-based knowledge representation can drive more effective, evidence-based decision-making in biodiversity conservation and climate resilience. By linking human activities to environmental pressures and structured response strategies, this approach empowers policymakers, researchers, and AI-driven tools to identify scalable solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms. Join us to explore how this revolutionary knowledge system provides a semantic foundation for AI-powered conservation intelligence, paving the way for radical, science-driven solutions to restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity, and enhance environmental governance.
