Adolfo Ottoniel MONTERROSO RIVAS

I am a Guatemalan professional specialized in environmental and natural resource economics. I work at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN-Guatemala) coordinating the Project “Resilient Highlands”. My recent work is related to promoting nature-based solutions, specifically, ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change. I am an Agricultural Engineer (Metropolitan Autonomous University, Mexico), M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics (University of London, United Kingdom) and Ph.D in Tropical Agroforestry (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center, Costa Rica).
