AZIZ MONIR

Biography

I am a civil engineer, graduated from EMSI Rabat, with over 8 years of experience in construction, structural engineering, and sustainable building practices. In December 2023, I founded BET Eco Build-Ingénierie, an engineering firm dedicated to ecological transition and heritage preservation by delivering innovative and environmentally responsible solutions.

Throughout my career, I have developed strong expertise in structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, steel frameworks, and eco-efficient construction methods. I have successfully managed and supervised complex projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

I also serve as a coordinator at the Youth Policy Centre, where I actively promote youth engagement in sustainable development and environmental policies at the regional and international levels.

Some of the most significant projects I have led include:

  • The restoration of the Zaouia Sidi Hameza in Midelt
  • The post-earthquake reconstruction of the Zaouia Moulay Brahim in Al Haouz
  • An eco-construction initiative with UNESCO in Rabat
  • The expansion of a sustainable agri-food packaging unit in Moulay Bousselham

I hold an ISO 9001 certification, advanced training in BIM (CYPECAD), and have completed several specialized courses on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and circular economy with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. Proficient in CYPECAD, ROBOT BAT, AutoCAD, and BIM software, I combine technical precision with an ecological perspective to deliver resilient, efficient, and future-oriented engineering solutions.
