AZIZ MONIR

Biography

I am a civil engineer, graduated from EMSI Rabat, with over 8 years of experience in the construction sector, structural engineering, and sustainable building practices. In December 2023, I founded BET Eco Build-Ingénierie, a technical engineering firm committed to ecological transition and heritage preservation through innovative and environmentally respectful solutions.

Prior to that, I spent 6 years as a structural engineer and technical manager at BET Cabinet Debbagh, where I led several complex projects involving reinforced concrete structures, steel frameworks, and energy-efficient designs.

I am also a coordinator at the Youth Policy Centre, where I promote youth engagement in sustainable development policies.

Some of the most significant projects I have led include:

  • The restoration of the Zaouia Sidi Hameza in Midelt,
  • The post-earthquake reconstruction of the Zaouia Moulay Brahim in Al Haouz,
  • An eco-construction project in partnership with UNESCO in Rabat,
  • And the expansion of a sustainable agri-food packaging unit in Moulay Bousselham.

I am ISO 9001 certified, trained in BIM (CYPECAD), and have completed several courses on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and circular economy with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. I am proficient in CYPECAD, ROBOT BAT, AutoCAD, and BIM software, allowing me to design, model, and manage projects with precision, efficiency, and environmental awareness.
